Hamilton eases clear of Rosberg in first Brazilian GP practice
Lewis Hamilton laid down an early benchmark for his rivals on Friday by easing clear in first practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos. Hamilton arrived in Brazil one day later than planned after being involved in a minor road traffic accident in Monaco in the early hours of Tuesday morning, but showed few signs of distraction or rustiness as he eased to P1 on Friday morning. Hamilton recorded a fastest lap time of 1:13.543 to finish half a second clear of Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg, leaving the German to fend off Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel.
