Lewis Hamilton insists he did not criticise seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher and urges the Formula One legend’s fans “not to believe all that you read”. Comparing his three titles to Schumacher’s record achievements, the Mercedes driver would have taken a thinly-veiled shot at the former Ferrari star’s ruthless driving style and clear number one status within his team. “I’ve never done things like [Schumacher] in order to win the championship,” Hamilton was quoted as saying by German website express.de. “I’ve only won thanks to my natural abilities” Hamilton’s alleged comments were not well received in Schumacher’s homeland,...
