Verstappen upbeat after closing on Lotus
– Toro Rosso driver Max Verstappen was upbeat after claiming ninth position at the Mexican Grand Prix to marginally close the gap to Lotus in the Constructors' Championship.Verstappen finished in the top 10 for the fifth successive Formula 1 race, in the process moving Toro Rosso to within six points of Lotus in the scrap for sixth in the standings."I had a good start and to be running in sixth during my first stint was great, but we had some heating issues, which definitely cost us a lot of lap time unfortunately," he explained."But we need to focus on the positives, I think ninth is the best we could do and I'm happy to have scored some more points, closing the gap...
