Force India and Aston Martin in rebranding talks

Force India are believed to be in talks with Aston Martin with a view to take on the name of the British sportscar company from 2016. Aston Martin have not competed in Formula 1 since 1960 as a constructor with the David Brown Corporation. The company has long been linked with a move back into F1, having being mooted as possible title sponsors for Williams. It has also been suggested that, as part of a potential deal between Mercedes and Red Bull, the latter would take Aston Martin branding before talks between the constructors broke down.
