Stevens 'pushing hard' for 2016 Manor race seat

Will Stevens says he is 'pushing hard' to hold on to his Manor F1 race seat for 2016 and believes his pace is not an issue thanks to his performances with the team this season. The British driver's future still remains unresolved with both Manor drivers for 2016 yet to be confirmed by the team, with Chief Executive Officer Graeme Lowdon estimating the drivers won't be announced until the end of the season. Manor has recently signed a partnership deal with Mercedes and will run the German manufacturer's power unit next season, which has strengthened rumours Mercedes is aiming to carve out a race seat for its reserve driver and new DTM champion Pascal Wehrlein.
