Dennis: Magnussen deserves F1 career
– McLaren Group CEO Ron Dennis says the outgoing Kevin Magnussen is deserving of a career in Formula 1, and that the team will do all it can to help him moving forward.Magnussen confirmed earlier on Friday that he will be leaving McLaren at the end of the current campaign, bringing to an end a six-year association with the Woking-based outfit.Magnussen, who raced for McLaren in 2014, had hoped to return to a full-time seat next year, but his hopes were dashed when Jenson Button was confirmed alongside Fernando Alonso."Evidently, we have no space for him at McLaren-Honda as a race driver next year, but there is no shame in being edged out by two World Champions, Fernando and...
