Hamilton wins Russian GP as Rosberg retires

Lewis Hamilton stormed to a dominant victory at the Russian Grand Prix, extending his advantage in the drivers' championship. The British driver started from second on the grid and challenged his team-mate Nico Rosberg into Turn 2. He couldn't find a way through, but moved ahead of his title rival when Rosberg ran wide at the chicane. The German reported a throttle issue and went off at Turn 13 on the same lap. He quickly slowed and pulled into the pit lane to retire at the end of the seventh tour. From there, it was a relatively easy run to victory for Hamilton, pitting on lap 33 and emerging in clean air.
