Lowdon: Mercedes engines a chance to level the playing field

Manor Marussia team principal Graeme Lowdon says securing Mercedes power units for the 2016 season gives the British outfit a chance to level the playing field. The team entered administration last October but returned to the F1 grid under the ‘Manor' name at the start of 2015, running a modified version of its 2014 car. Manor's two drivers have been limited to fighting each other at the back of the pack, some way off the pace of the midfield teams, but Lowdon hopes Mercedes engines will help to change that.
