Ecclestone says F1 could be sold this year

– Bernie Ecclestone says that Formula 1 could be set for a change of ownership before the end of the year, with the Briton claiming that three parties are interested in buying into the sport.CVC Capital Partners is currently the major shareholder in Formula 1, but it was reported earlier in 2015 that the company was considering its future in the sport, following a 10-year spell.Ecclestone told the Camp Beckenbauer global summit on Tuesday that he is in discussions with three parties."There are shareholders at the moment in such a position where they have to lose some of their shares or all of them shortly," Ecclestone said.
