Further rule tweaks for 2016 confirmed by FIA

The FIA has confirmed further tweaks and changes to the F1 2016 regulations following the World Motor Sport Council's meeting in Paris on Wednesday. As well as releasing an updated version of the provisional 2016 calendar, the sport's governing body announced modifications to track limits, exhausts to increase noise and wind tunnel restrictions. The statement released by the FIA read: 'Cars must now comply with all cockpit and safety equipment requirements during testing; such as the position of the driver’s head, all headrest padding, cockpit padding and ease of driver egress.
