Chandon joins McLaren as a sponsor

The McLaren F1 team has announced that Chandon will be a sponsor of the British squad. The new partnership was made official today at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking. The images released by the team showed Chandon replaced Johnnie Walker's name on the sides of the cockpit of McLaren's car. Chandon is part of the LVMH group, of which Diageo - which owns the Johnnie Walker brand - owns a 34 per cent stake in. It is unclear if the new deal delivers a big revenue boost or is part of the original Diageo deal.
