Maurizio Arrivabene says Ferrari have closed performance gap

Japanese Grand Prix – Ferrari Team Principal Maurizio Arrivabene says that Suzuka proves the Scuderia have closed in the performance gap between themselves and Mercedes. Even though the two Ferraris finished behind the two Mercs, Sebastian Vettel led Nico Rosberg during the first half of the race after Rosberg made an error duelling with Lewis Hamilton at the start. Rosberg eventually caught Vettel and passed him through the second pit stop phase. However, Vettel would finish the race less than two seconds behind Rosberg. The gap between Lewis Hamilton & Vettel was 20 seconds, with 4th placed Kimi Raikkonen a further 13 seconds behind. Maurizio Arrivabene pointed out afterwards that...
