Hamilton equals Senna's record

Japanese Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton secured victory number 41 at the Japanese Grand Prix which saw the Briton equal the number of wins registered by Ayrton Senna. Having failed to secure his 41st victory at the previous race in Singapore, Hamilton secured the win that saw him equal the number of wins set by his childhood hero, Ayrton Senna. Leading throughout the race, Hamilton was able to comfortably control the race to secure what he described as an 'emotional' victory. 'It was such an amazing race,' said Hamilton.
