Nico Rosberg had to ‘avoid contact' on first lap
Mercedes driver, Nico Rosberg has revealed that he was forced to yield to the fast starting Hamilton to avoid any sort of contact which could have got both drivers races to an end. Both Mercedes drivers had ordinary getaway's, but it was Lewis Hamilton who grabbed the inside line going into turn 1. Rosberg thereafter was forced wide off the track by the slightest of margins, which thereafter meant the German dropped back to fourth behind Vettel and Bottas.
