Renault announcement expected next week

– Lotus CEO Matthew Carter says he expects French brand Renault to make an announcement regarding its planned takeover of the team next week.Lotus' Formula 1 future has long been up in the air, with its current financial plight made painfully clear at this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix.Some of the outfit's freight only arrived at the Suzuka circuit on Thursday afternoon, while staff members were locked out of the hospitality unit.When asked for an update by BBC Sport, Carter said: "As far as I am aware there is going to be a press release from Renault sometime next week."Lotus will be back in court on Monday over unpaid taxes, but Carter is hopeful of a positive outcome,...
