Status Quo resumes as Mercedes go 1-2 – FP3 Report
Japanese Grand Prix – Mercedes' Nico Rosberg has gone fastest in final practice for this weekend's race at Suzuka. Lewis Hamilton took P2 ahead of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo. Unsurprisingly, the start of the FP3 session saw a frenetic rush onto the circuit due to the washed out Friday running. With track conditions very green, hard tyres were the compound of choice to start off and Daniel Ricciardo was the first man to set a time with a 1.36.392. Valtteri Bottas popped in behind him, with Max Verstappen, Daniil Kvyat & Carlos Sainz filling out the top five after the first few flying laps had been set.
