Singapore planning improved security for 2016 after track invasion

Singapore Grand Prix chiefs are considering higher fences and ramping up the number of security personnel it uses, after a spectator got on to the track at last weekend's race. The FIA has received a report from race clerk of the course, Gabriel Tan, following his investigation into what happened. The report states that the spectator climbed over a 1.1 metre high security fence, gained access to a 2-metre wide marshal zone, crossed a carriageway and then slid through an access point in the debris fence to get on the track.
