Verstappen now 'too busy' to take driving test

Max Verstappen may finally be old enough to take his driving test next Wednesday, but says he is now too busy racing in Formula 1 to book a date just yet. The Dutchman turns 18 on September 30, and is eager to get over the hurdle of earning his road car licence. But in the midst of the end of season flyaways, Verstappen says finding time to book some lessons and take a test will have to wait. "I didn't have the time yet – I still need to find a date to do it," said Verstappen at the Japanese Grand Prix. "Especially now there are a lot of overseas races, so it will be a bit difficult."
