Lotus retain Maldonado for 2016
Just hours after it was let slip that Romain Grosjean is off to Haas, Lotus have confirmed Pastor Maldonado for next year's campaign. Despite the uncertainty shrouding Lotus' future with the team poised to be bought by Renault, they are pushing on with their 2016 plans. And that includes securing their driver line-up. The team has announced that Maldonado, who joined in 2014 from Williams, would stay on for a third season. 'It's great that the team can confirm my position as race driver for 2016,' he said.
