Vettel triumphant in Sinagpore as Hamilton retires

Sebastian Vettel dominated the Singapore Grand Prix for Ferrari as points leader Lewis Hamilton failed to finish. Vettel led away from pole and survived two safety car restarts to score his third victory of the campaign and move ahead of Ayrton Senna on the all-time standings with 42 race wins. Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo recorded his best result of the season in second, while Kimi Raikkonen rounded out the podium for Ferrari. Hamilton retired from the race following a loss of power while running in fourth, his first retirement in 20 races.
