Vettel Secures 42 Career Wins

  The Singapore Grand Prix began with Sebastian Vettel on pole for the first time with Ferrari and 208th for the team. Red Bull also qualified well with Riccardo taking P2 on the grid and Vettel’s teammate Kimi Raikkonen behind him in third.   As the lights went out Vettel took full advantage of his pole position by pulling away immediately. However, Max Verstappen of Toro Rosso stalled on the grid. Fernando Alonso narrowly avoided colliding with the young driver as Verstappen was forced to be towed back to the pits to restart his race.
