Rosberg leads Hamilton in first practice

– Nico Rosberg set the standard during Friday evening's opening free practice session for the Singapore Grand Prix at Marina Bay, edging out Mercedes team-mate and championship leader Lewis Hamilton.Rosberg moved to the front in the early stages and worked his way down to a best time of 1:47.995, three tenths up on Hamilton.Rosberg's effort was also over a second faster than the time posted by Fernando Alonso during last year's corresponding session.Daniel Ricciardo and Red Bull emerged as the best of the rest in third, ahead of Ferrari pair Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen.Vettel suffered a late scare after locking up heavily at Turn 5, but the German managed to keep his car...
