Williams close to race victories

Williams is just short of being a challenger for race victories, according to their chief technical officer Pat Symonds. The British based team has endured hardships these past few seasons that have pleasantly gotten better. In 2013, Williams finished a mere ninth, near the bottom of the pack. In 2014, the team jumped to third and recorded many podium appearances throughout the season. However, they have not won a race since Spain 2012 when Pastor Maldonado took the surprising victory. Williams has been making strides during this season but have been outperformed by Ferrari.
