Webber: F1 depth has 'never been weaker'
– Mark Webber believes that the strength in depth of the Formula 1 grid has "never been weaker" than it is at the moment, and has urged the sport to make drivers "gladiators" again.Webber, who left Formula 1 in 2013 to join Porsche in the World Endurance Championship, says he is concerned by the gulf in talent between the front and back of the grid."These guys are on a phenomenal level but the depth has never been weaker," Webber, who raced for Minardi, Jaguar, Williams and Red Bull in Formula 1, told BBC Radio 5 live."We need to get the calibre that we have at the front of the grid.
