Shell announce ‘innovation partnership' with Ferrari
Oil and gas giant Shell have revealed details of an innovation partnership with long-term Formula One partners, Ferrari. The announcement means the two companies will work closer together in their respective efforts for advancement. Shell will have 50 dedicated staff across their headquarters as well as Ferrari's in Maranello, committing 21,000 man hours to the team. In return, Shell will benefit from the high performance test bed of Formula One, with Ferrari aiding their research into better fuels and lubricants. “Shell’s goal is to help power Scuderia Ferrari to an 11th Constructors’ Championship title in partnership with Shell,” said Shell’s Downstream Director, John Abbott....
