Williams confident of challenge based on race pace

Italian Grand Prix – Despite being outclassed by Mercedes & Ferrari in qualifying, Williams men Felipe Massa & Valtteri Bottas believe they are contenders for the podium based on race pace. Massa & Bottas will start Sunday's race from P5 & P6 behind the Merc & Ferrari drivers. Running Mercedes power, the FW37 has been strong on high speed circuits throughout the year while last year's FW36 finished a comfortable P3 at Monza in the hands of Massa. Bottas underlined the strength of last year's package by taking P4 behind his teammate.
