Verstappen gets drive-through penalty

– Max Verstappen has been hit with a drive-through penalty for the Italian Grand Prix after stewards deemed that his car was released in an unsafe manner in qualifying.Verstappen's engine cover dramatically flew off at the end of the opening Q1 phase after his mechanics had rushed to complete an engine change between sessions.The FIA duly investigated the incident and ultimately decided to impose a drive-through penalty, which must be served within the opening three laps of tomorrow's race.Verstappen will start the race from the back of the grid, with his aforementioned change resulting in another 10-place drop.
