Carter: Lotus has budget for rest of season

– Lotus CEO Matthew Carter has moved to ease fears over the immediate future of the Enstone-based team, insisting that it has funds in place to complete the season.Lotus' future in Formula 1 has been under question for some time, with the outfit struggling financially, and talks continuing with Renault about a potential takeover.Although there were concerns over its ability to contest the Italian Grand Prix, Lotus made the journey, and Carter says he has no doubts for the rest of the campaign."I can guarantee you that we'll be at Singapore," said Carter."One of our sea-freight containers has left, our airfreight will leave next week.
