McLaren drivers pick up more engine penalties

McLaren's Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button are set to pick up more power unit penalties this weekend at Monza. The Woking-based outfit has changed engine elements on both cars ahead of the Italian Grand Prix. McLaren picked up a collective 105-place grid penalty at the last round in Belgium after two power unit changes each for Alonso and Button. The regulations state that drivers pick up 10-place penalties for the first change of a set of power unit components, and five-place penalties for further changes to that set. Alonso and Button move onto their ninth Internal Combustion Engines (ICE). The former will get a 10-place grid drop, while Button has already used two ninth components so...
