Hulkenberg signs two-year Force India contract extension

Force India has confirmed that Nico Hulkenberg has signed a new two-year contract extension with the team for 2016 and 2017. There has been plenty of speculation about the German driver's future in F1 over the last few months, being linked to a Ferrari seat and a drive at the new Haas F1 outfit. However, Hulkenberg has now secured his place in the sport for the next two seasons. He debuted for Williams in 2010 before joining Force India as a test driver. He was promoted to a race seat in 2012 before switching to Sauber. Hulkenberg returned to Force India last year, and 2016 will be his fourth season with the Silverstone-based outfit.
