Pirelli praised for 'sensible' Monza tyre choice

– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has been praised for making a "way more sensible" compound selection for this weekend's Italian Grand Prix at Monza.Pirelli has supplied its Medium and Hard compounds at the track in recent seasons, but opted for a more aggressive choice of Soft and Medium this time out.Giampaolo Dall'Ara, Head of Track Engineering at Sauber, reckons the rubber will be better suited to the circuit's characteristics, and improve the spectacle."The Monza circuit is known worldwide for the impressive speeds the cars reach on the straights, which are the highest of the season," Dall'Ara explained."At the same time, this historic facility features...
