Hamilton says he had pace in hand

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton says he had pace in hand as he had no real reason to push during certain stages of the Belgian Grand Prix. Hamilton retained the lead from pole position and cruised away from his rivals, as Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg worked his way into second place after a slow start. Rosberg remained within a few seconds of Hamilton for much of the race but the Briton said he was simply controlling the pace at the head of the pack.
