Hamilton storms to 10th pole of the year in Belgium
Lewis Hamilton has secured pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix in style, securing his tenth of the season so far whilst setting a new lap record around the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit. The Briton also became the first driver to secure six pole positions in a row since Michael Schumacher back in 2000/01 in the process. The reigning world champion will start the 44-lap race alongside team-mate Nico Rosberg, with the fourth row set to consist of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez. Sebastian Vettel could only manage ninth fastest for Ferrari, with team-mate Raikkonen 14th after a mechanical issue in Q2.
