Stevens: Manor looking at bigger picture in 2016
Will Stevens has played down the possibility of Manor introducing a new car before the end of the 2015 Formula 1 season and says the team is weighing up the long term benefits with an eye on next year. Manor, formerly known as Marussia, was saved from extinction just weeks before the start of the 2015 season in Australia and lined up on the grid with an updated version of its 2014 MR03 chassis with last year's Ferrari engine. Over the first half of the year Manor has steadily accumulated updates alongside new backers and sponsors with an initial goal of rolling out a new car for 2015 before the end of the year.
