Renault F1 no longer looking at buying Toro Rosso – Tost

Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost has said that a potential takeover deal of Toro Rosso involving Renault has stalled. Also he admits that, a potential deal that would have seen Renault buy the F1 team appears to have ended following a breakdown in discussions. Renault, and sister team of Red Bull, had been in talks with their current engine supplier over a potential takeover, a deal Tost was keen to push ahead. Renault had reportedly been keen to increase their presence in Formula One after cutting back their involvement to engine provider in recent years.
