Max Verstappen preparing to sit driving test

He may have just finished in 4th place in a Grand Prix, but Toro Rosso's Max Verstappen doesn't yet hold a road car licence – something he's hoping to have rectified by the end of the year. At just 17 years old, the Formula 1 rookie is not yet old enough to be allowed drive a road car in Belgium – his country of residence. With his 18th birthday coming up in September, the Dutch driver says he is going to use the F1 summer break to put in the requisite hours and hopefully attain his licence.
