Hulkenberg: Little warning over front wing failure
Sahara Force India Nico Hulkenberg said he had little warning prior to a dramatic front wing failure at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Hulkenberg's front wing collapsed from his Force India on the pit straight, sending the German into the barriers at Turn 1. Hulkenberg was able to walk away from his damaged car as he retired for the second time in 2015. "It’s a shame we lost the opportunity to get a great result today," he said. "I didn’t have much warning that there was a problem with the front wing - there was a harsh vibration just before it broke and after that I was heading straight into the barriers.
