Alonso tempted by other series
Although he's enjoying a 'fantastic project' with McLaren-Honda, Fernando Alnoso says there is 'temptation' to try other racing series. The double World Champion is in the midst of arguably his most difficult season in Formula 1 as McLaren and new engine partner Honda struggle to get up to speed. However, it's not the fact that he's managed just one point in nine races that has the Spaniard feeling downbeat. Rather, he says, it is today's Formula 1 and its limitating rules. 'I love motorsport, all the categories,' he explained. 'It is true that F1 is not exactly the same, or as exciting as it was in the past – at least to me, to drive the cars two or three seconds...
