Hamilton completes practice clean sweep in Hungary

Lewis Hamilton continued to set the pace at the Hungaroring as he ended the final practice session of the weekend in P1 on Saturday. The reigning World Champion led a Mercedes AMG PETRONAS 1-2 ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg with just 0.098s separating the two championship contenders. Both Hamilton and Rosberg suffered lock-ups during the session into the opening turn, while the German’s session ended a few minutes early when his car appeared to turn itself off as Rosberg went to attempt a practice start at the end of the pit lane. Sebastian Vettel ended the session in third in the leading Scuderia Ferrari, and was the only driver to get within one second of the pace of the Mercedes duo,...
