Hamilton fastest, Perez uninjured in huge crash – FP1 Report

Lewis Hamilton was the man to beat in a truncated Free Practice One session which featured a scary crash for Force India's Sergio Perez. With the prospect of a hot weekend, the drivers were met with morning session temperatures of 27 degrees centigrade, translating into 40 degrees on the twisty, technical track of the Hungaroring. The two Force India drivers were the first to take to the track, with Nico Hulkenberg equipped with air flow test equipment behind the front left tyre of his installation lap.
