Sauber keep Nasr & Ericsson for 2016

Sauber have extended the contracts of drivers Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson for the 2016 season. Brazilian Nasr, 22, is in his first Formula 1 season and is 11th in the drivers' championship with a best result of fifth in Australia. Swede Ericsson, 24, is 16th in the standings with five points, 11 points behind his team-mate. 'We have full confidence in the talents and skills of Marcus and Felipe,' said Sauber boss Monisha Kaltenborn. 'This early point in time shows that the drivers and the team are sure they are heading in the right direction.' Ericsson drove for the now defunct Caterham team in his debut season of 2014.
