One Year Rewind – Ricciardo fights back in Hungary

Daniel Ricciardo picked up his second win of the 2015 season at last year’s Hungarian Grand Prix, after an action-packed race in challenging conditions. The Australian qualified fourth at the twisty and narrow Hungaroring, renowned for its processional racing and lack of overtaking spots. Nico Rosberg took an unchallenged pole position after an engine problem eliminated his team-mate and title rival Lewis Hamilton from qualifying in Q1. Sebastian Vettel picked up the final spot on the front row of the grid, ahead of Valtteri Bottas. Fernando Alonso was some way off Ricciardo in fifth, ahead of Felipe Massa, Jenson Button, Jean-Eric Vergne and Nico Hulkenberg. Daniil Kvyat started 10th,...
