Rumor: Carlos Sainz to Ferrari?

There are fresh rumours afloat in the Italian and Spanish media that Carlos Sainz has become the latest candidate to partner Sebastien Vettel at Ferrari in 2016. Until now, the likely candidate to replace Kimi Raikkonen has been his fellow countryman Valtteri Bottas with some ‘inside sources’ even claiming a 4 million break-out clause had already been agreed between the Italian Marque and the resurgent Williams team for their driver. Nico Hulkenberg was also rumored to be a candidate, but it is believed Ferrari did not want two drivers of the same nationality in one team as both Nico and Vettel are of German nationality.
