Bottas - I could have pulled a gap on Massa

Valtteri Bottas believes that had he been allowed to race Felipe Massa at the British Grand Prix, he would have pulled away once he had passed him.  Despite appearing to be faster than Massa, Bottas was instructed to hold station behind the veteran after an early safety car period. 'I feel I would have been able to have pulled a gap,' he told Autosport. 'I'm guessing [I could have gone] half a second per lap because on the in-lap I was nearly one second quicker.' The Finn feels that although Williams then did make the call to allow the two drivers to race each other, his opportunity to pass had already slipped away.
