Rosberg: I had to stay out longer in rain

– Nico Rosberg says he had no choice but to stay out longer than team-mate Lewis Hamilton as late rain showers hit the British Grand Prix.Rosberg dropped back to fourth at the start of the race, but was able to recover lost ground when rain began to fall in the closing stages.Having overtaken Williams pair Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas, Rosberg proceeded to rapidly close on fellow Mercedes driver Hamilton.Hamilton effectively sealed the win, however, by pitting for Intermediates earlier than his direct rivals, with Rosberg stopping a lap later."I was thankful when the rain came," said Rosberg."I was able to attack and pass both Williams drivers and close in on Lewis...
