Sebastian Vettel: “Our race pace should be fine”

Sebastian Vettel admitted qualifying was harder than he was expecting after finishing down in sixth at Silverstone after making a mistake on his final quick lap on Saturday. The Scuderia Ferrari driver felt he struggled with the balance of his car during the session but hopes to have better race pace on Sunday when it matters most, although he feels the Williams team will pose them a problem. “It was more difficult than we expected so we’ll have to have a look at that, but clearly it’s not ‘clean’ from my side,” revealed Vettel. “I struggled a bit to find the right balance. Tomorrow could be a different story, because our race pace should be fine. Today was not the best day....
