Bird: 'What an unbelievable way to finish!'

London ePrix – Sam Bird claimed his and Virgin Racing’s second ePrix victory of the season on home soil for both driver and team in an epic season finale. “It’s been a mixed season for us at Virgin,” Bird said. Up until the London ePrix, his first Formula E campaign had yielded just two podiums. The two podiums came by way of one race win and a third placed finish, however Bird managed to tally up a total of three retirements in the 2014-15 season. “But what a way to finish, unbelievable, unbelievable. The race today, great race start in fourth.” he enthused. “We were very strong and I was able to attack people into Turn 11, and we made the moves stick which is nice....
