Wittmann impressed by F1 power
Austria – Toro Rosso had a new face behind the wheel Wednesday in Austria, as the side gave 25 year-old DTM champion Marco Wittmann a chance to prove his mettle behind the wheel of a Formula One car in Spielberg. 'I was surprised at the power of the car: if I compare it to DTM, it's got quite a lot more power,' Wittmann reflected. 'I enjoyed the whole day, which was trouble free, so I was able to do a lot of laps. I'm happy with my day, and I hope the team is too.' The Toro Rosso garage had few complaints either, with the team benefiting from a steady hand to perform race simulations with its upgraded aero package.
