Austrian Grand Prix Penalties Explained

Four drivers have been hit with severe penalties for technical infringements so far this weekend. Here is an explanation of the penalties that apply to each of the drivers. The last few days have been an almost constant production line of grid penalties that have been applied to some of the drivers. Red Bull Racing's Daniil Kvyat & Daniel Ricciardo, as well as McLaren's Jenson Button & Fernando Alonso are the men affected. Here's why: Daniil Kvyat: The Russian driver's ICE (internal combustion engine) part of his power unit was changed.
