Ricciardo and Kvyat get 10 place grid drops
Red Bull/Getty Images Red Bull faces a sizeable challenge even to score points at its home event this weekend in Austria as both Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat will face grid penalties. Reliability problems at the start of the season left the pair with a shortage of new parts from their respective allocation and both drivers will use a fifth engine at the Red Bull Ring this weekend. Consequently, Ricciardo and Kvyat will start 10 places lower from wherever they qualify. Ricciardo and Kvyat are likely to be joined towards the back of the grid by McLaren's Fernando Alonso - who faces a penalty - while Jenson Button may also drop places.
